About the Campaign
The campaign has an intense plot. Something exceedingly powerful is trying to destroy the world or enslave everyone or something equally dire. You’re not sure what yet. Everything seems normal right now.
Your Heroes can choose to act to lessen the impacts of the nefarious being’s evil acts and potentially defeat the Exceedingly Powerful Evil Entity right before the Really Bad Thing happens.
While there is a main plot to the campaign, the world is a sandbox. Your Heroes can choose to ignore the signs and portents and go do whatever they feel like. If they do that, they will suffer along with the rest of the world once evil triumphs.
The campaign will offer combat, negotiation, exploration, mysteries, moral dilemmas, puzzles, and maybe even a few traps. Probably limited or no political intrigue. The balance between these things will ultimately be driven by what we all find fun at the table. It’s a new game system, so let’s adapt as we experience and learn it.
The campaign will weave in Hero-specific storylines to the extent that the players give me something about their Heroes that I can work with.
The primary Restrictions in this campaign involve Ancestries and Complications. This is not a Coleville setting. See House Rules for detailed information.
