The Collegium is a global organization dedicated to the research, cataloging, and dissemination of magical knowledge. Where the Sentinels concerns itself with the practical work of handling threats, the Collegium focuses on understanding magic itself: its manifestations, its applications, and its dangers.

Relationship with the Sentinels

The two organizations work in close partnership. The Magic Society produces the Sentinel Badge and provides much of the informational infrastructure that adventurers rely on. Some individuals hold membership in both organizations, typically researchers who also engage in fieldwork or adventurers with scholarly inclinations.

Services

Magical Tablets: The Collegium offers tablets that serve as portable references, cataloging information on essences, abilities, monsters, and other magical subjects. These are essential tools for adventurers and scholars alike.

Speaking Chambers: Water-based chambers that allow real-time magical communication between any two chambers in the world. These are maintained at Collegium branches and are available for use by members and, for a fee, the general public.

Spirit Coin Distribution

The Collegium manages the distribution of Spirit Coins. This responsibility places the Collegium at the center of both commerce and magical practice.
